Christofascism, Trumpism . OffTheTop

Please, We CAN Enjoy the Love and Joy We Have – That Itself Is a Major Act Against the Fascism.

We CAN enjoy the love and joy while we are still here to do so. I think we should.

Let's Enjoy the Love and JoyThe battalion of fascists planning to take up residence in our national administration seek dishonest, unhealthy joys and destructive loves.  They rejoice in fraud to support their hate-filled plans for domination, and exploitation, of practically everybody.

But many of us are privileged to live the real, to live healthy joys and nurturing loves.  We should, don’t you think? I want to enjoy now the moral and emotional health and goodness that I have in my life and not surrender to the atmosphere of their profound sicknesses, lies, and violence.

Their deep driving motivations are fear/hate. It feels so good to hate.
Their strategy is always lies and violence. A context of lies requires violence for it’s survival.

Jesus said, the evening he got arrested, “I have overcome the world.”  I bet he meant, at least, that he was not shamed or shaped by their sickness, their lies and hate. He effectively resisted in his own heart, and thus lived in true joy and love – and even hope – in spite of an environment much flavored by hate and violence.  A major achievement! – to live the love regardless of the thugs.

And that’s truly an in-your-face to those sick powers that be! They can’t do it! They don’t have the beautiful realities. They only pretend and brag, thrash and strut around, dish insults and hurt people. They can’t do the real.

But many of us CAN. Even right now. We’ve had some practice.

So let’s! No sense surrendering our emotional health to soak up in our spirits the stench of their massive sicknesses when there truly is love and joy and beauty in our worlds right here, and people who need the loving, right now.

Questions for us:

1. Jesus actually said, “Be strong” just minutes before his arrest.  Is that insane?  Or should we maybe work on that as best we can, out of, at least, respect for his attitude?
2. You know, you have in fact experienced true love and joy. Do you think it would be a worthwhile protest against the lies and hate and violence to keep finding that within and bringing it into our own local real worlds?
